Ornate Antique Victorian Silver Plate Whist Marker w/Bell & Salamander Pointer

An estate found
, mid-nineteenth century ornate silver plated whist marker bell with a salamander pointer
– offered with no reserve and a low opening bid!
The marker measures 2-1/2” x 2-1/2” x 5/8” high and weighs  82 grams.
The salamander pointer chimes/dings when moved clockwise around the dial and the hinged lids open to reveal a heart, club, spade & diamond.
Condition:
the marker has not been cleaned or polished; considerable wear to the silvered finish with overall tarnish. The salamander pointer works properly and the bell rings.
